Kitchen Staffing

Job Title: Kitchen Staff Multiple (Prep Cooks,

Dishwashers, and General Kitchen Staff)
Job Summary: Rolling Grape Vineyard is on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join our kitchen team in various
roles, including Prep Cooks, Dishwashers, and General Kitchen Staff. If you have a passion for culinary excellence and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we invite you to be a part of our culinary team.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Prep Cooks:
• Execute daily prep tasks, ensuring all ingredients are prepared to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
• Contribute to the creation of exceptional dishes by following recipes and guidelines.

2. Dishwashers:
• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are sanitized and ready for use.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene and safety standards.

3. General Kitchen Staff:

Qualifications:

Handling certificate is required.

Marketing & Social Media Coordinator 

Job Title: Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary: Rolling Grape Vineyard seeks a Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will work with the marketing team to build our online presence, including crafting compelling content for various marketing channels.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Develop visually striking content for diverse marketing channels, including
social media platforms, our website, emails, and other key channels.
2. Social Media Management: Lead the charge in managing our social media presence, ensuring
consistency, engagement, and growth.
3. Campaign Development: Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and execute campaigns
that align with our brand and connect with our audience.
4. Photography and Videography: Capture the essence of our winery through high-quality visual
content, showcasing products, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
5. Audience Engagement: Drive online community engagement by actively responding to our
audience, encouraging user-generated content, and creating memorable online experiences.
6. Copywriting: Craft compelling copy for various platforms, maintaining alignment with our

Qualifications:

• Availability: This position is Wednesday – Sunday and requires flexibility during weekends,
evenings, and events. Content creation and creative contributions during these times are crucial.
• Credentials: A valid driver’s license and Smart Serve certification are essential. Previous work
experience with brand-driven accounts is preferred.

Event & Wedding Coordinator 

Job Title: Event and Wedding Coordinator with Bar Service Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to coordinate and assist our Event
and Wedding Manager in planning and executing flawless events and weddings. This role will include ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients and our guests. As well as being trusted to take lead conversations with clients when required. This is a new position that will require some flexibility and initiative

Responsibilities:
Event and Wedding Coordination:
1. Assist in the administration, planning, and execution of events and weddings from
inception to completion.
2. Liaise with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
3. Set up and manage wedding day logistics, including décor, seating arrangements,
timeline adherence with other duties as assigned.

Bar Service:
1. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to organize and oversee bar services.
2. Coordinate beverage selection, stock, and inventory management.
3. Ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations and licensing requirements.
4. Oversee the setup and breakdown of bar and experiential areas during events.
5. Occasionally run bar or service when required.

Client Interaction:
1. Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns
promptly.
2. Work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences for event, wedding,
and bar service.

Event Support:
1. Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving during events.
2. Be a point of contact for vendors, staff, and clients on the day of events.
3. Administrate, create, advise, and build existing and new events with team members as
assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Experience in event planning is preferred. With strong customer relationship experience.
2. Familiarity with bar service and beverage management is required. Along with Smart Serve
Certification.
3. Drivers License and own transportation.
4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
7. Must be able to work long hours on your feet and be able to carry a case of wine

General Manager

Job Title: Winery General Manager

Job Summary: The Winery General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of winery operations and collaborate closely with the owner to align on business objectives, strategies, and overall vision. The role is key to ensuring daily operations are executed under your supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision:
• Lead and supervise winery staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours and events.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure staff are fulfilling their duties and obligations.
Coordination with Restaurant and Event Staff:
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and efficiency in
food preparation and service.
• Work with event staff to organize and execute special events, tastings, and private
functions.

Customer Service:
• Manage customer expectations to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
• Address customer feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or winery industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of winery operations, including kitchen and event coordination.
• Proficient in scheduling teams and organizing labour.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and evenings.

Salary Expectations:
Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications approximately $24 per hour.

Our winery is located on the family farm and in the middle of our vineyard for you to enjoy our wines and vines! Just 20 minutes South of Peterborough.
